The Hotel La Pensione Svizzera a small, historic palazzo built in Taormina in 1925 in an outstandingly scenic location is a perfect example of a small charming hotel overlooking one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Ionic sea. It is within a short walking distance to the center (Corso Umberto, congress – center/ Palazzo Corvaja, and Greek- Roman theatre), as well as to the cable car to the beaches and the main bus terminal.
The Hotel La Pensione Svizzera welcomes guests, nearly all of them are individual voyagers, with a friendly, charming atmosphere that includes a delightful garden with palm trees, typical Sicilian furnishings and all the most modern conveniences. For more than 80 years the Vinciguerra family and his multilingual staff (24 hours a day on disposal) have caring for the Hotel as if it were their own home, giving that touch of unique charm that distinguishes La Pensione Svizzera from all the 3-star hotels in Taormina and which is a guarantee for a unique stay.
Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the very pleasant garden, a real privilege for a hotel in Taormina, a place to relax and socialize and where breakfast is served, every morning, from 7:30 to 10:00. The rich buffet offers plenty possibilities to enjoy sweet and salty specialties.
